At the Height of my abilities in that season……

…..thats when i wanted to quit 😕.

Today, i reflected on a very defining moment in my recent past.

Many things were going on right ((in my perspective of right)) and i could recognize i was in a very blessed season.

Yes i was very grateful because i had just come out of a hard place. Sorta like “the Job experience but very PG”😄

Now, the things that happened in my mind were not thoughts i would have imagined to have while everything is going on well. I just wanted out 🙌🏽🌍

I wanted out from this planet and even was hopping for it. I had kinda made peace with it in my mind if it happened, and was delighted by the idea🌍

Yes it was strange. That things seem to be all too well for you. But thats when i felt the emptiness of THINGS”. The things being well didn’t fulfil, in fact i felt more vacuumed than ever before.

During this time, i prayed but with a “SEE YOU SOON LORD” kind of attitude because i thought He was in on it too, to have me back home on streets of Gold.

I had not recognised that i was here for a purpose greater than myself and my own fulfilment. And so He kept showing me in the scriptures this truth , that “You are Here not for yourself but for something bigger than yourself and I ALONE KNOW WHAT IT IS”

Almost immediately, i started to relate deeply with “To Live is INDEED Christ and To die is gain”.

Now i may forget sometimes that this lesson has been taught and slump back into that hole sometimes., but surely the Holy Spirit doesn’t let me spend a minute in there, He Keeps causing me to remember and for that , I am grateful.
