Lean Not in your own Understanding Warren

This has been such an eye opener 📌

Today, i woke up by 3am and failed to go back to sleep. 🛌 🛏️ I had plenty on my mind and i was vexed. The main thought 💭 was , who is in-charge of my destiny?.

So i was led to open my Bible which is right by my bedside and i continued in my journey through Proverbs, Specifically Proverbs 3.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So i reached these verses and took some time thinking about what it means for me. And its simply , TRUST IN THE LORD , how much???, WITH ALLLLLLLLL YOUR HEART. Lean not in your own understanding. In that moment i realised, my own understanding can be my own enemy and cannot be relied upon at ALL. 😄 Then i continued, In all your ways acknowledge Him. This led me to a place of Prayer and it was surely comforting to pray in line with this scripture.

“Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Once again, i was confronted. I realised i have been thinking wrong. I thought i was wise 🫣🤥🫠🫠. I thank God i am not wise and HE IS WISE. So once again i was led to pray and acknowledge how foolish i have been. It is not up to my wisdom and understanding of things that will make His Purpose happen . ITS ALLLLLL UP TO HIM . All i have to do is TRUST. 🤯😍.

Finally, i was also reminded to DEPART FROM EVIL, and as you can see it has benefits to you. I THANK GOD
